My First Podcast
By Zef Hemel
- 1 minutes read - 184 wordsYeah, I took the leap and decided to actually give it a go. A podcast is a radio-like show that’s put on a website, syndicated using an RSS feed with enclosures and aggregated by software like iPodder.
I recorded my first show this morning. It’s in English, which is harder than it seemed. I had heard many podcasts before, all by native speakers of the English language. I thought, ok, I can do that. But 1) Speaking English is harder than writing it and 2) With a radio show you have to keep talking all the time, and I’m not that much of a talker. But anyway, here’s my first ever podcasting show:
ZefHemel.com Podcast Episode 1 (10mb, length: 28:37)
You can either just download it and play it, or you can download “iPodder”:http://ipodder.sf.net and subscribe to my “RSS2 feed”:http://www.zefhemel.com/feed/rss2 to get it. I hacked the WP script to add support for MP3 enclosures. Anyway, enjoy and let me know what you think.
