Safari 5: HTML5, Faster JS, Reader
Apple released Safari 5 yesterday. Although I probably won’t use it beyond the testing of mobl web apps (yes, that’s what they’re called these days), it does have a couple new features. There’s the improved support for HTML5 features (including the Ruby tag, geolocation and websockets), a 20-25% faster javascript engine. The most important feature from a user perspective, however, will be “Reader”. What does it do?

A cleaner, no nonsense reading experience. Very much like what instapaper does.
