Hello, Anybody Out There?
When I finally got my Google Wave account I was very excited, during the days that followed I was playing with it all the time. But now, a few weeks later, I hardly even check anymore. It used to be open in my browser all the time, but what’s the point if nobody else seems to be using it? Many of my colleagues have accounts, but they don’t seem to have any use for it. I once attempted to use it as a replacement for e-mail, but never got a response from the other person, so that didn’t work out well either.
Maybe it’s like the twitter thing. I’ve had an account for a long time, but never got much out of it the first few months. Then, all of a sudden people around started using it and now I’m hooked. Will Wave be similar?
Are you still using Google Wave? And if so, what for?

Not using it a lot at the moment, but I used it a few times for brainstorming and discussing ideas (which was quite productive).
I'm not using it a lot for a few reasons. First of all, my main browser is not FF nor Chrome. Even if they were, I wouldn't have a browser window open at all times. Related to this, I'd like to see some notification utility or perhaps a notification addition to GTalk, which would inform me on Wave activity.
Also, there are not many people with a Wave account yet, so there's this isolation between Wavers and non-Wavers, like this picture illustrates: http://9gag.com/photo/14167_full.jpg
Some people are advocating a bridge between e-mail and Wave to weaken this isolation. I once read a nice comment or blog post about this somewhere, but I cannot find it at the moment.
Yeah, some type of interaction between e-mail and wave may be nice.
Maybe they should send us an email when a wave is updated … ehm
Or a tweet!
